I changed DD's diaper this weekend and noticed she had super nasty green poop. Mentioned it to DH who thought it was just an odd color-but normal. Then she developed diaper rash, which she's never had and it was so sad and red. Looked up side effects of fenugreek=green watery poop. I stopped it and she's totally fine now. So now I'm back to freaking out about my milk supply. Not helping that I just only pumped 3 oz.
Side note-bad decision to feed her green beans just a day after the Fenugreek incident. Had a small heart attack at that diaper.

This is one of the reasons I stopped taking it. Not to mention it caused havoc with my stomach too.
As soon as I stopped it, her poops were normal and my stomach was settled for the first time since I started taking it when she was a couple weeks old.

I've had more luck with hoppy beer than anything. I never really felt the fenugreek did much for me.

It worked right away. I'd say try it -but don't keep taking it continuously if you don't need to. She didn't get the poop issue until I'd been taking it a few weeks.
I think I'm going to have to....one cannot live on oatmeal alone. It's starting to make me gag.
And I'm not a beer drinker, usually. I could gag it down if I had to.
kellymom said to discontinue. this was way different than her usual poop-and definitely was what caused the rash.
