When did your LO get more efficient/eat faster?

If your LO was originally a slow eater, when did he start to get more efficient and speed up? My LO takes 45 minutes, sometimes an hour to hour 5 minutes!

 

(Now and then he does throw me for a loop with 15-30 minute feedings, moreso at night and they are rare:)

    Not until about 4.5 months when we switched to fast nipples. Up till then, he used slow nipples and took 40-50 minutes to eat.

    But we knew he couldn`t be switched to fast nipples sooner than that because we tried and he kept drooling and overflowing with formula.

    Is he breastfed or bottle fed?  DS is breastfed and I was wondering this too.  It takes him forever to eat, except in the middle of the night, which I suppose I should be grateful about.

    I don't remember for sure, but definitely by 1 month she was down to 15-20 minutes.
