How are you beating the heat?

We have temps in the 80's all week here (finally!)...I'm sure my feet will swell up like balloons though. How are you staying cool these days?

    Oh, what I wouldnt give to have temps in the 80's. Its been 95-100 here (Texas) for like 2 weeks straight, but off and on since early April. I have pretty much just stayed inside, wearing as little clothing as possible and my in laws have a pool which I discovered this weekend is a wonderful thing not only for beating the heat but for a pregnant body...takes the weight off!

    Today I am going swimming. Also, I have been putting ice and lemonade in the blender and blending it up, it makes a yummy, slushy lemonade!

    I'm not beating it....the heat is definately winning. I am ready to stick my head in the freezer- even my ac isn't cold enough!

    I just have to say...Gig 'em! :D

    I'm going home to Austin, TX next week for my baby shower and I am NOT looking forward to that heat.  It's only in the 80s up here in VA, but it feels miserable to me already!  I just make sure to stay hydrated and that has helped the swelling a lot, as well as keeping a mini fan close by :)

    DH bought me one of these for our back yard this weekend!! I loved it.. Since in Indiana it was over 90 all weekend and will be for a while.. This was great to sit in and he waited on me too... It was nice!!

    we've had quite a few days in the 90s lately.  pregnancy hormones kicked in yesterday, i've been sweating like a pig, and i feel disgusting! 

    yesterday, i spent a decent amount of time with my feet up and my swelling never got too bad.  cold, cold water has been my best friend.  i would die for a swimming pool!

    Freeze pops, watermelon, cold meals, and enjoying it! I'd rather be in this 85* heat than in a blizzard!

    Oh, Lord!  DH just uncovered and cleaned the AC last night.  I was able to turn it on today and it was the most glorious thing I've felt in ages!  I could actually put my makeup on without it melting off immediately!

    The heat isnt my problems its the darn humidity! Water and a/c are my best friends unfortunatly my car a/c went out hoping it just needs to be recharged and not something more.
