Baby Wearers, which wrap?

I'm going to be wearing #3 all summer long to keep up with my toddler/preschooler. I have a piggy sack (locally made) but it doesn't seem as secure when I am moving/bending over...is the Moby the best out there?

We have a baby bjorn too, but I'd rather have one that is good for my back and secure and more comfortable!

    I'd rec an ellaroo. It's like a moby, but not stretchy and much MUCH cooler for summer months, but still gets pretty warm. If you're comfortable with it, check out some back carries. You can use them with newborns, too.

    Also, if you prefer a SSC [soft structured carry], an ergo is better [for adult and baby] than the bjorn.

    I would suggest going with a woven wrap for the summer over a moby.  I loved my moby for my winter baby, but something like a storchenwiege is awesome for the summer (more lightweight and breathable).  The woven will also take you from infant to toddler and allow you to front and back carry.  Good Luck!

    I highly recommend the gypsy mama gauze wrap. I ordered it because I use the moby a lot but it was going to be way too heavy for the hot humid summers of michigan. I used it yesterday while we walked around an outdoor mall in the 87 degree heat and it was perfect.

    I second the Gypsy Mama Bali Breeze and the Ergo. I use both and I love them. The Ergo would be a bit hot with the infant insert but it's fast and easy to put on.

    I love my Moby but it isn't as good in the summer or when the child gets a bit heavier.  I would highly recommend an Ergo or a woven wrap.  I have a storchenwiege and really like it.  I would recommend checking out thebabywearer.com It is full of information about different carriers and also has a for sale and trade (FSOT) section where you can buy cheaper carriers.  Here is information on different types of wraps and what they're good for.
