Matthew's Birth Story

Hi ladies! Our little guy made a fast and furious appearance at 1:29am on Monday morning.

We were at a cookout on Sunday afternoon, and I started feeling strange pains. I wouldn't have called them contractions, but apparently I was wrong! I asked my mom to explain contractions and she also thought they were just gas pains, so I went about my day.

A few hours later, after some stronger pains, I decided to shower just in case. We headed to the hospital at 10:30pm, and I was a 5 centimeters and my water broke. After that, things moved quickly. By 1:29am, he was here and I barely had time for an epi. He is 5 lbs, 14 ozs and 20 inches long.

I'm sorry for grammar/spelling, I'm exhaused!  I can't PIP at the hospital, but I'll be back with pics!
