ER was Sunday
ER was Sunday and they got 15 eggs. 12 were mature and 11 fertilized. They start grading the eggs the first day and 5 were excellent, 4 fair and one poor. I feel pretty bloated and sore but better today. Two funny stories:
1) They put me under and I was dreaming that i was home cuddling with my dog. He always stands over me to wake me up to go potty. So when the nurse wakes me up after the procedure the first the I said was "Do you need to go out to potty." She thought that was pretty funny.
2) My poor Husband was really super quiet after and all morning before we got the call. I was actually pretty mad because he seemed very distant and uninterested. He did mention that he was not happy about his sample but not much else. So after we get the fert report, he starts saying how he thought he had messed the whole thing up.
Apparently, the room they put him in was a regular room with the stirups and ultrasound equip. (how un sexy is that) then he started to panic because things weren't going as quickly as he thought they should and he felt like the nurse was waiting on the other side of the door. So he missed the cup at first and half went on the wall. He said he was really worried, he messed the whole thing up.
Poor guy. They really should have a room just for that stuff. The man is just as important.

Ha, that's funny about your DH. When my DH did his first SA he only got about half his sample into the cup, and then neglected to tell anyone until they called and said his sample size was really low. I'm surprised they don't have a special room for that at your center.

DH: low count + very low motility; hormones all normal; Sperm DNA Frag. test = poor to fair; male karyotyping normal
Me: FSH 13.4 + AMH 0.26 + hypothyroidism; Scratch the hypothyrodism (?); Blood clotting and immune panel all negative; endometrial biopsy normal
IVF #1 (MDLF - Jul/Aug 2011): BFN (9R, 5M, 3F with ICSI, 3dt of 1 10-cell grade 2, no frosties)
IVF #2 (EP-antagonist - Sep/Oct 2011): BFN (6R, 4M, 3F w/ ICSI, 3dt of 1 6-cell, 1 7-cell, grade 4s, no frosties)
DE IVF #1 (shared cycle - June 2012): c/p (6R, 6F w/ICSI, 3dt 1 8-cell grade A- and 1 7-cell grade A-; no frosties)
DE IVF #2 (shared cycle with new donor - Nov/Dec/ 2012): - BFP!!!!! 12/14/12. U/S on 12/27 shows twins!!!!!

Great results! And, your poor DH. It is super stressful on us but we don't have to perform on command the way our men do--in just about the least sexy of situations....
