XP: One of my maternity leave projects

It took me a little longer than I had hoped to finish, but it's done! I also finished a cuddly flannel quilt (which I had intended to finish before LO was born). I just started quilting his applique owl quilt and have a bunch of other projects ready to start cutting.

It's gorgeous! Your quilting is very impressive. I tried it once like 10 years ago and realized it was way too hard for my basic sewing machine skills.

lw - it's quilting cotton that is ruffled. It's raw-edged, so it's frayed.

I actually have fabric for another argyle quilt, but I'm going to use polka-dot grosgrain as the criss-crosses instead--ruffling the strips took forever and I'm not crazy about how frayed they got.
