Dr. Hickman- RE

Found out last Friday that my 2nd IVF cycle failed. I met today with my RE and he has recommended that I meet with Dr. Hickman to review my chart and to get his opinion. They are friends and he thinks very highly of him. Has anyone seen him?

I haven't personally used him, but I have several friends that were successful with him... One has 3 with him (single and twins)

Sorry your cycle didn't work

I saw Dr. McKenzie (also at Houston IVF) and Dr. Hickman did some of my monitoring appointments....he is great, they both are! I really can't say enough wonderful things about them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I'm so sorry abut your cycle I did IVF as well at Houston IVF but my Dr was McKenzie. I LOVED her and her staff. I saw Hickman a few times and he was fine but I felt like he was more clinical and less friendly than McKenzie. One of my good friends saw Hickman for both of her IVFs and really liked him. I used Dr McKenzie at Houston IVF, although we didn't end up needing to move to IVF. The staff there are amazing. The office was also very accommodating about squeezing me in around my work schedule as much as possible.

I haven't personally used him (I live about 100 miles from Houston) but I know people who have and spepak very highly of him. Supposedly he is the 2nd best in the country..... the best is the guy who trained Dr. Hickman. I also heard that Dr. Hickman's results are a lot of "2 for 1s" (i.e. twins). I'm sorry your IVF failed. One of my JL friends speaks highly of both Hickman and Mackenzie, in fact I had an appt to see Hickman the day I found out I was pregnant. My friend saw Mackenzie but she saw Hickman once or twice when Mackenzie was out. Good luck and I know things will be great.
