BabyHawk for plus size (XL or regular?)

I want to order a BabyHawk mei tai from Amazon (I have a GC to use), but they don't come in the XL straps.... Their site says the regular size fits up to a 22/24. I'm a size 20. 

Any plus size mamas on here use the regular BH? Should I get it or just skip it and order the XL some other time?

    I have an XL and it's got way more than enough wiggle room. I am a solid 18. I wish I had shorter straps, they hang really low in front and I have a good 4-5 inches in the back. I think you'll be OK with the regular.

    Amazon is great about returns if you end up feeling like you need the larger size.

    I am an 18 and have the regular. There is definitely enough room for another size or two in the straps when I have it on.

    I am a 16 and had the XL.  The straps were very long but I liked it.  I liked having the ability to Lexi twist and create a chest belt if I wanted.  You could probably get the regular but I was definitely happy I had the XL.

    I wear a 22 and the regular fits me well, but the extra room wouldn't be bad.  I say you play it safe and go long.  :)

    Erin, if you are referring to the one we traded, the straps are XL.  Sorry if you aren't!

    Nope - I was referring to the one that WebMistress sent me, which is regular.  Yours is definitely the XL and I can tell the difference.   If I were to buy one it would be the longer one.  :)
