  • I am so excited!  I'm on the east coast and stayed up late to see the win and speeches.  I had no doubts that he'd win but it was great to watch and be a part of it all.  I am very proud of our country!
  • I'm excited to be a part of history but I am being cautiously optimistic.  And yes I did vote for him.

  • Like Kristie, I am cautiously optimistic. I did vote for him, but it's not the Second Coming of Christ, people.

It remains to be seen what changes can and will be made.

  • Obviously its not the second coming of Christ but I'm optimistic and I do feel he will probably be one of the best Presidents of our time. Call me a dreamer, that's what I believe.

  • I didn't vote for him but I still think that there are exciting times ahead.  I also cried when I watched Obama's speech.

  • I know!!! I am soooo excited! I had tears in my eyes last night!!! I've never, ever felt that way about politics before. Well, I shed tears at the last election, but for a far different reason lol.

  • Good Lord, no one is saying it's the second coming of Christ, but this country has come a loooong way and that's exciting. I was in tears. A lot of people were. It's kind of amazing.

    I'm thrilled!
