Love, marriage and a baby carriage
As prepared and knowledgeable as I know you are (at least that's how you seem to me from your posts), I know you will be just fine. Just remember you won't be perfect, you will make mistakes, but so long as you love your LO with all your heart and do what you think is best, then everything will be just fine. Parents don't have to be perfect, they just have to try their best.
GL! We are all feeling that right there with you!

omg! I thought you were going to say your water broke or something! lol
You're going to be great! I've never heard you complain about this pregnancy on this board. It's just reality setting in because you're what, 2 days away from EDD? But really....I think you're going to be a wonderful mom.
having you and your DH that love her will put him leaps and bounds ahead of a big part of the population. He's blessed to have you guys!
My favorite quote from Modern Family - "Your parents faked their way through it. You fake your way through it. And you hope you don't raise a serial killer!"
It's not just FTMs!! I'm about to have my third and still freak out about L&D, trying to raise three kids (especially when most days I don't have enough patience to raise two!!), sleepless nights, etc. I'm actually more nervous this time than I was the last two times!
You will do a great job. Most of it is instinctual but the other stuff takes awhile to get through. Every baby is different and needs different things. I have been a mother for 10 years now and I still freaked and have a daily "Oh Sh!t" moment with this LO. It is difficult at first but so awesome. And as long as you do your best I don't see you messing your child up royally.

Girl, I'm so scared too. I want to just run away but I can't! You'll be an excellent mom. You've been such a good sounding board to everyone here the last 8 months and it shows you have a great heart. (not trying to sound too cheesy:)
This.. heck, I've done it 4 times and I still think I'm going to screw something up! Every baby is different, you will know what's right for you and your baby.
You will be a great mom! Your fears are a sign of that. There will times where you make a mistake. But you'll learn really quickly from them. Trust your gut instinct and never hesitate to ask for help!
Your an amazing person. You'll be an amazing mom!
So the truth. I am ready to freak out. I am so overwhelmed by every emotion in the book that I don't really know how I feel. I can totally relate as I'm sure most all FTM's are feeling right now. I'm sure you will do great, now if I could only get myself to believe this as well. GL!
