Nursing Bra

I purchased a few nursing bras at a well named store prior to giving birth but I have found them to be such a pain breastfeeding in.  The bra specialist told me that the wired bras give the best support but when nursing they seem to be so difficult that LO can't get around it and I end up having to take it off.  Are wireless bras better?  Any recommendations.

Re: Nursing Bra

  • None of my bras have wires. I had read underwires cause more blocked ducts and mastitis.

I love my bravado tanks the most.

I have also heard this same thing.  I have a few nursing tanks from Target and a few of the Medela nursing bras.  I think that the wireless bras will work fine for you.

  • I like my tanks best for ease of use! I like my 2 for $22 Walmart ones better than Target. I also like my bravado wireless one- not sure what style it is... got it on Babysteals! I hate my underwire one.

  • I love nursing tanks too.  I'm fairly large (DD/E) and still find that the ones with lycra from Motherhood maternity offer plenty of support for work, even without underwires, and I like the ones I have from Target to wear around the house.  I like that the tanks cover my stomach too when nursing or pumping.
