Pittsburgh Babies

Found any prenatal exercise classes?

Just curious, has anyone found any good prenatal exercise classes in Pittsburgh?  I just did a web search and didn't find much.  Anyone find any good yoga/pilates/cardio classes?

Thanks!

  • I have been doing prenatal yoga through Schoolhouse yoga. It really helped to eliminate the back pain I was developing.

  • There are also prenatal classes at Yoga H'Om in Robinson.  I'm a yoga instructor and 15 weeks pregnant.  The classes go through 6 week sessions, but they run continuously so I would recommend contacting Donna, the owner, and I'm sure she'd let anyone join even in the middle of a session.  You can get more info on the website: www.yogahom.com.  It's a great group of poeple and Patti, the instructor is great.  Hope this helps and maybe I'll see some of you there!
  • I ended up signing up for the Magee class which starts this Monday.  A little nervous since I'm out of shape but I'm hoping it will help with the back pain.
