how do you get rid of stains?

I have some stained baby clothes (bug surprise!) and am wondering how to get them to look nice again.

stains: poo, dirt, more dirt, tomato sauce, blueberry (not all on the same item!) 

some of them have been washed and dried already (I love it when DH does the laundry, but...)

    You could try to wet them and put them in direct sun.  I've really only done it with diapers but it works fantastically so why not give it a try?

    I've also soaked clothes in Oxyclean and then rewashed.  It works about 50% of the time even after they've been set in with the dryer.

    ditto the sun.  it works great on 99% of stains.  i'd first try to soak them in oxyclean or biz, then rewash, and lay them in direct sunlight for as long as possible. 

    sometimes it does take a couple times to get the stain fully out depending on how bad it was to start with.

    A dab of original blue dawn gets almost all my stains out.  Oxiclean is my next try.

    The ones that haven't been washed and dried, try soaking in vinegar water & dawn (original blue), then rinsing & scrubbing until no suds. Run through wash. Works with stains on regular clothes at my house ( got tomato sauce out of white pants).
