Pregnant after a Loss

Too much rest?

DH asked me if I was getting "too much rest" lately?  I've been napping when I'm tired, which is almost every day (if I can).  Everything I've read says to get as much rest in that you can if you're tired, but I never thought I'd be getting too much rest!  Please tell me DH is just jealous!  Stick out tongue

Re: Too much rest?

  • Get your rest, girl!

The only thing I noticed in my own life, is when I nap/rest too much and am not productive enough (like house stuff, personal hobbies, writing, etc) i tend to get depressed. But I think you're just fine! Enjoy your rest. MY DH likes to tease me, too and I think that's just 'cause he can't relax enough to nap- just jealous, I say!

  • I vote for being jealous! DH seems to be incapable of taking naps (unless he's sick) so, he gets on me all the time about taking naps, even when I'm not pregnant.

I do feel guilty that I've let some housework go....but not depressed about it!  I know it will be there when I wake up!

    He's jeslous.

BTW- I can't even imagine what "too much rest" looks like?  I imagine it looking like male chippendales there feeding you grapes and fanning you, being carried room to room and daily massages.  If this is your life than yes you might be getting too much rest.  If so, can I come over?

Oh, wouldn't that be the life?!?  I can promise you there are no chippendales fanning me.....if there were, trust me, I'd PIP!!

  • It's hard work carrying this baby around!! You deserve the rest, he is being a silly butt. I have a feeling I am going to be laying around more for these last 5 weeks or so because all of a sudden I am getting up 5-6 times each night to pee. I am exhausted in the mornings, not rested at all. How is it possible to pee this much??
