Both seats have to face forward and the footrests have to be in the upper position and pointed a certain way. There are videos online if you want to see how. It's kind of a PITA to fold it like that when you're out and about. Much easier to just take the seats off. But I store it with both seats attached and folded so I know it can be done.

funny- i have never even tried- but know that you do it and it's possible Good to read how to do it!
It's SOOO easy to pop the seat off- that I always just pop off the bottom seat and fold... most of the time I pop both seats off- so i can easily clean out all the crumbs, etc - and they nest so nicely that it takes up even less space- and is so easy to do... and put back together too.
I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.
I also just take the seats off before I store it. It's super easy, and anyway might as well since I'm never sure how I'll want the seats configured the next time I use it.

I put it into the back of my Sienna minivan as is without folding it. Easier for me that way! (I have half of the backseat of the van folded down to make room for my stroller)
I usually pop off both seats and fold it. I am still using the car seat attachments for my every day drop offs and pick ups from daycare and I just take off one of the attachments and fold it.
I use mine with the seats facing each other and I usually just pop off the bottom seat to fold. It's easiest to get in/out with both seats off and takes next to no time to put the seats back on.
Ditto. Popping the seats off is quickest - esp. since if you take both off, it's easier to collapse tight and flip up the little side clip to hold it all together.
