Went to ER this evening...

Lily has been doing wonderfully the past 2.5 weeks, eating (EBF), going to the bathroom, and gaining weight. But all of a sudden she started getting cold sweats around 4:30 this evening. I gave her a bath to wash away all the sweat and she screamed through most of it. After the bath she started getting lethargic and wouldn't eat. I started to get really worried, DH and I were trying to decide what we should do when she started vomiting, that made us get up and go without a second thought. By the time we got to the hospital(15 min drive at most) she was pale and the skin around her lips and eyes were blue.

We were at the hospital from 6:30pm-1:30am. They took blood, gave her an IV since she wouldn't eat, checked her stats every hour, and just watched her to she if she would get any worse. Her color picked back up and her stats were normal, the thing they looked at the most was her temp since it was hanging out below where it was supposed to be. After being there forever the ER docter decided to let us go. We have an appointment to see her docter tuesday, and hopefully get the results back on her cultures.

I decided to stay up this evening to keep an eye on her. I'll let DH watch her when he gets up, then i'll go sleep for a few hours. Keep my girl in you T&Ps while we're waiting to find out whats going on.
