...how do you reassure yourself that things could very well being fine?
This is my second pregnancy. With my first, I had horrible morning sickness, and was already feeling queasy by this point in time. So on the one hand, I'm trying to hope and pray that I don't get so sick again, but on the other, the fact that I feel FINE...is actually stressing me out! Lol!
Any advice/thoughts? You'd think I would be more relaxed the second time around!
Re: For those of you who don't "feel" pregnant...
Just know that you can't change the outcome either way (so long as you're living a healthy lifestyle). And consider yourself lucky! Not everyone gets symptoms, whether they did in previous pregnancies or not, so there's no need to worry.
I'm a huge worrier, but I had to look at the bright side- how awesome is it to NOT get morning sickness?! That's pretty awesome.
Although, that was short lived, but that week & a half was pure bliss!

This was hard for me because I miscarried right before I got pregnant. I only had symptoms from weeks 6-8 and even those were mild. I had to just trust that everything would happen the way it was supposed to and I did eventually purchase a fetal heart doppler around 10 weeks but I hardly use it. Every dr's appointment has been good and I'm just starting to feel little flutters now.
I just tell myself as long as there's no bleeding everything is going well. I am excited to see my baby on Tuesday for our NT scan!
I had m/s with my DD until 14 weeks and major food averisions to practically everything. This time around as long as I have food in my belly I'm fine. I can eat anything and everything I want (though chicken doesn't sound great these days). The only real symptom I've had this time around is no period. I am grateful for that because I have an 11 month old (scratch that - she'll be 12 months on Saturday) to keep an eye on.
Thank you for your replies - it does help, especially hearing from other moms whose pregnancies have been different this time around!
I do have somewhat sore nipples, so I'm taking that as my symptom, lol! And I have noticed that I feel just a tiny bit queasy if I let myself so hungry, but I was thinking that was all in my head. Maybe not, after all!

Also, last time I got pregnant, I took Clomid - so I'm wondering if some of my early pregnancy "symptoms" were actually just side effects of that (bloating, for example). And this time I didn't use Clomid. Thoughts?

You're still early. I really bloated up this time around around 6 or 7 weeks.
True.
I think I'm more nervous because I have a doctor's appointment this week just to 'confirm' the pregnancy (thought I believe he's just doing his own urine test) and I have this irrational fear that it will turn out that I'm not pregnant - even though I took seven (yes, I'm pathetic - seven) pregnancy tests - and one was a digital!
