I sorta feel in the no mans land of second trimester. It's ironic because being to this point is all I wanted. In the last few days I have this feeling of dread and I am so worried it is more than pgal paranoia. I hear LO heartbeat all the time and it is holding steady around 150. I am thinking it's a bit higher as well but I just don't know if I have enough of a bump yet. My bump seems to be the whole lower half of my abdomen rather than only above my pubic bone and I don't really know if I can feel my uterus? It's still about 2.5 weeks till we see LO again I am just so worried for bad news. I have no way of knowing if I am progressing normally!! I am reading this and realizing I sound BSC I just needed to vent to people who understand I guess....

Re: I think I need some reassurance
You sound like a pretty normal 15 weeker to me
Let the hb you're hearing regularly be your reassurance. Having a nondescript bump, not really feeling pregnant, etc...totally normal.

I don't know if this is reassurance but I feel the same way. I still find the HB pretty low so I don't know how much my uterus has moved up. I was a little overweight before pregnancy so it is hard for me to find my uterus. At my last doc appointment, my doc was using the doppler to find the hb so she felt for my uterus. She said "you uterus is still pretty low." But, she didn't express any concern over it.
I just can't wait for my a/s on June 14th so I can see LO again!!

I didn't have an upper abdomen anything until about 20 weeks and strangers still can't tell I'm pregnant. That being said, I think you are fine and you sound like a normal 15 weeker. The hb is good and let that reassure you about everything right now.
(((Hugs))) I felt the same way at 15 weeks. It's that weird inbetween time when you're feeling better but you can't really feel the baby, which makes it unnerving as you don't have any external signals that things are going okay. You just have to keep reminding yourself that the baby is growing and things are fine.
When you have your doctor's appointment, ask your doctor to show you the top of your uterus and help you to know what to feel for. I did that and it helped me to find mine. You can also google around for a nice graphic of where your uterus "should" be at this point. I wish I'd saved the link, but I didn't. If I remember right, it's about halfway to your belly button by this point and up to your belly button at around 20 weeks.
As for showing, it'll eventually come. I'm still waiting for it to go from just looking fat to looking pregnant, though I'm an extreme case. I'm long and have large hips, so there's plenty of room here for baby to spread out in. I think there was a post about this yesterday (I think on this board, but maybe not) and some girls were 20-25 weeks plus before their baby bump both stayed a baby bump all day (and not a bloat bump) and looked truly like a baby bump.

I completely understand how you feel! At 19 weeks, I still don't have much of a bump and it felt like forever before we got to go in and have our ultrasound last week. (It had been 4 weeks since we had heard the heartbeat on the doctor's doppler and almost 8 weeks since our last ultrasound.) Everything was great!
Hang in there! Everyone in this group definitely understands what you're going through!

I think this is why I've been using my doppler more lately. I still occasionally puke but it' rare. I can feel the top of my uterus about half way in btw by belly button and pubic bone but I'm very petite. This does feel like no mans land. I CAN'T wait to feel movements!!! We'll get through this... one day at a time!
Here's a link about where everything is "supposed" to be at this point but of course everyone is really different https://www.msichicago.org/whats-here/exhibits/you/the-exhibit/your-beginning/make-room-for-baby/interactive/

Really cool exhibit and it actually helped me a lot get an idea of where the uterus is sitting. I am am(or was) pretty petitie to start so my Dr. told me I was probably going to feel it and I feel pressure now!! I think I feel the top of it as but I am just not sure. Thanks again

You sound like I did when I was at that point in my pg - only I couldn't check the hb all the time because I decided against buying a doppler. I do remember thinking something was wrong because I wasn't getting a bump and I just didn't feel pregnant having left 1st tri and the symptoms behind.
It will pass with time!
