CDers- question about inserts.

Which are you using nowadays? We are still using microfiber, but I have to use 2 now to keep from leaking and I'm not a fan of how bulky it's making them. Any better options for more absorbency with less bulk?

you could try hemp but honestly I think MF is about as thin as it gets - IMO at least...y

I know a lot of moms on the cd board use joey bunz hemp inserts. They're supposed to be more trim and more absorbent than mf.

I'm still using MF too, but I own like 6 hemp inserts. So far I have only used them as doublers, but I'm thinking maybe I should try one on it's own. The MF plus the hemp makes for a pretty big diaper. The Kawaii's I have each came with 2 bamboo inserts. Those are super thin. At night I use 2 and it works great.

We use mostly hemp with very few microfiber and my guy pees a tonso they are holding up well and not as bulky as the microfiber. I havent tried bamboo, other than in the softbum shells, but maybe I will give those a try too.
