New to Everything

Hello my name is Kim and I am very new to all of this.  I live in Durham, NC and soon will be moving to Fayetteville to start my new life with my boyfriend.  On September 28, 2011 if God says the same, I will be a new mother to a baby girl.  I am very excited and I can't wait to meet her.  I joined this group so i could get some questions answered by veteran moms and to also share the excitement of becoming a new mom.  The down side to all of this is that I was pre-diabetic when I became pregnant and now I am a diabetic with my baby.  I was also diagnosed with Group Strep.  Since this is my first time being pregnant ever, Im trying really hard to research everything and trying stay healthy, the cravings sink me in at times but I am confident that everything including my health and my daugther's health will be great.  Hopefully Duke will know what to do when it is time and a little prayer wouldn't hurt either.

    Hey! Look up your birth month (for LO aka little one) and join in there.  It's a great way to start getting some feedback and find mothers who have stuff in common with you.  Congrats and good luck!
