EF Bug Bite remedy?

I don't have much in the house for anti-itch but Cortisone and it's NOT working or she wipes/itches it right off.

Any ideas???

    Good link.. esp to prevent them in the first place. I would have suggested the tea tree since I use that for eeeeeverything. Hope it works for you

    soak a cotton pad or washcloth in witch hazel and lay it on the bite(s). I used to get bitten a lot behind my knees, and my mom would do this and let me lay watching TV while we treated it. Especially when it is hot, it feels very soothing.

    FWIW thank you! I tried the baking soda water paste overnight last night and it helped immensely!
