So on May 25th Emma Lynne decided to make her great appearance. She was 20 inches long and 6.9 pounds(sorry we have a different measuring system over here so I dont know if it?s right).
Labor and delivery went pretty smoothly but thank God for epidural. She was here in eleven hours and after four pushes. Today is the first day at home and we had a good night with a relatively calm baby.
Now just one thing that makes me worry a little: The last time she pooped was Friday night but therefore she has had a lot of gas. I asked the nurses at the hospital and they told me not to worry but considering what she eats I dont think it?s good that she hasn?t pooped. Any advice ladies?
Re: Emma Lynne is here
Oh and I am not breast feeding. Did you try the thermometer yet?
Congratulations!
Maybe you can get in touch with your midwife about the pooping? I would be concerned too.

They showed me the thermometer thing at the hospital and I hope I will never have to do this.

congrats!!
same thing happened with my dd, ped said they may not poop everyday. give it another day or two, and then call.
Congrats!!
My first was a non-pooper. She went the first 4 days without pooping and I called the pedi. They had us go in and recommended an over the counter suppository to help her go. She was an extreme case and had trouble with not pooping for several months.
I would try the thermometer trick, but as pp said, as a last resort.
The doctor also had us try karo syrup in DD's bottles and miralax, but I wouldn't do either of those without a doctor's advice first.
