You have a 2 1/2-3 year old that will stay in a stroller?    I'm jealous...

Mine still fits in the Maclaren Triumph, the Chicco Trevi, and my Baby Jogger City Mini Double.   Won't staying sitting, though, so we usually take one of the single strollers, and either she walks, or she sits for a little while and we hold the baby.

I agree with pp about being jealous that your DD still rides in a stroller.  We haven't touched ours since shortly after she turned 2.  If I were you I would just buy a cheap umbrella stroller.

  • DS fits well in a Maclaren Volo that I got NIB for cheap on Ebay.  It goes up to 55 lbs.
  • DS will be 3 in September. If we are out and about, we use our stroller quite often. In fact, most weekends, we walk down to the playground a few times during the weekend, and I absolutely take his stroller.

If its just a short trip, we use our cheap umbrella stroller. If its a longer trip, or we want to use the basket underneath for stuff, we take our bigger stroller that was part of the Graco travel system we bought before DS was born.

  • I'm getting this one, looks good for a cheaper stroller (but not too cheap it will fall apart).

  • Luckily, she still does.  She's in a Graco at the moment.

If I take her out of it if we are somewhere, there's no getting her back in though for the rest of the outing...lol

  • I have a joovy Kooper and I really like it: pretty light, easy fold, huge sunshade, small but substantial.

I too have stroller loving kiddos, it's niceBig Smile.  I think that your best bet is to find something you love that has air filled tires, that's going to give you the easiest steering and push with the increased weight.  Also air filled stroller tend to be ones that have stronger frames ect to stand up to toddler use.  So much of it depends on your use and needs, like do you want a large stroller or a fancy umbrella stroller?

    Here are some that I love. ( my kids are 42 pounds/ 41" and 36 pounds/39" respectively)

https://www.albeebaby.com/maxi-cosi-perle-stroller-lilly-pink.html  - This is an awesome high end umbrella stroller on sale for a steal!  Tons of padding and comfort.  Part of the Quinny brand of products, no idea if you plan on more kids but this is infant seat compatible as well, rare for an umbrella.

https://www.albeebaby.com/maxi-cosi-foray-stroller-choco-mint.html  -I've been thinking very seriously about buying this one as a single to replace my Quinny Buzz now that my boys are getting so big and this is an absolute steal.

If you've got the money and the need for a serious stroller, lots of long walks, heavy terrain ect then I go for something in the Baby Jogger Family or a Mountain Buggy.  We've got a Mountain Buggy Urban Double and I bought it used, it's about 5-6 years old and the thing is still an absolute dream.  You can find both on CL pretty easily if you aren't in the market to drop a ton of cash.

  • My DS just turned 3 and we love the Chicco ultra lightweight umbrella stroller. It's really comfy for him, he will ride if we are walking a lot at the Zoo, then get out when we get to the exhibits. He will also ride in our Graco Quattro Tour Duo if I have both kids.
