But I can't find the hb with the doppler. We found it for the first time a week ago today. We have listened probably four times since and found it within minutes. But today we can't find it. DH and I checked for around five minutes, then I got up moved around some, went to the bathroom and tried again. We still couldn't find it. The baby is always in the same spot when we check, surely it hasn't moved to a different spot since yesterday. I will be crazy if I don't find it this weekend.

Re: I am trying not to stress
I'm glad you were able to find it.
Sounds like you got doubly good news. Not only is LO still doing well, but s/he is apparently growing if your ute is. Yay!
Have a great rest of your weekend!

Awesome! This happened to me a few times in week 12 and the answer was usually higher and in some spot I'd never tried before. It's actually a great sign that the baby is getting bigger and moving like crazy. So happy you found your squirmy worm. I know how stressful it can be ((HUGS)).

Honestly, I didn't use my doppler with this pregnancy until 14 or 15 weeks. Even then, Raquel moved into such weird places and positions a few times that I was SURE she was gone. One night it took me over an hour to find her heartbeat. I know it is scary, but it is normal at this age.
Up until 14w, I could only find it about 50% of the time.
Wait a few hours, try again with a super full bladder, elevate your hips and try ALL OVER your lower abdomen.
