I think it adds nice texture for a mono-chromatic style room. Personally I would only put it in a guest room because I feel like the "knot" parts would be uncomfortable to lay on/have on my every day bed.

I too think it depends on the room...I think it would actually look better on a bigger bed, really. And in a room where not much else was going on so it wasn't competing but was the star.

I don't think it's "ugly" persay, but it's not cute. Definitely NMS- I don't really see how it's a quilt or what the point of the little balls are.

Cute, I think, but only in the right room. I definitely had to look more than once.
Cute. But as someone who has had a similar style duvet I can tell you it's a PITA. The fabric has a hard time holding up around the gathers. You have to be very gentle with it and I don't know about you but I'm not particularly gentle (and DS definitely isn't!)
Oh my! I dont know if Id call this a quilt but, I like it.. I bought my Mom a duvet cover for her bday the other year and we both absolutely love it.. Softest bed ever! And this reminds me of it, instead of the balls though, it was just gathers on a litttle pc of elastic. Definately looks inviting IMO ;]

NMS. I think it could be cute if you made it smaller for a young girl though

I {heart} it and have already purchased a jersey sheet set on clearance at Target to make one for our apartment when we move.
This.
Looks a bit like whipped cream, too.
This makes me like it more.

I'm going with this. And my dog would eat the balls.
