OKay - if anyone remembers I'm trying to find a 1967 Buick Skylark (either my mom's or one like it)
and I found one that is the perfect price and perfect (for me) condition. And it just so happens it's in Lynwood. Great. If anyone knows - I moved back to Calif. The car is on a used car dealership - so it's not like a creepy strangers house.
I need a bumpie or a bumpie DH to go look at it - tell me if I'm getting yanked around. They said I could have it sent to a shop to have it checked over too. But since I'm not there anymore I don't know where to go.
Any Bumpie like classic muscle cars? Does your DH? Can you go test drive it for me ( I'm totally serious)
Re: Do I have a volunteer Bumpie (or DH) for a NBR adventure?
My DH is in the car restoration business - but he might give you more information that you're prepared for...but if you want ALL the details, he's the go to guy...
*ETA* we're a Buick family and have been in the Buick club for decades - if you want us to help search for a Skylark, we're VERY connected...and happy to help! Also with parts, repair, advice, etc. It might get a little overwhelming though, I can honestly say my husband is one of the MOST knowledgable people when it comes to vintage cars.
Can you email me?
