I've missed using the elliptical for the past week. Today my happy arse is getting back on it. The doc said to stay away from it until we figured out what was going on with my knee. Now I am cleared to resume physical activity. Yeesssss.

I wish I knew why I can't stand those things. For some reason they make my knees hurt WORSE than just getting on the treadmill. So weird. I want to love them - I just can't.

I hated them at first, but I learned to love it. Now that I am getting into shape it's become easier to use and it gives me such a good workout after I've done weights and stuff. If I don't get on it after my sessions with my trainer I don't feel satisfied, at all. I'm a little nuts I know.

I love it, but I have terrible balance issues. I have to hold on and look straight ahead or I fall off. My trainer put me on one last year, 5 minutes into it he asked how I was doing, so I turned my head to answer him. Next thing I knew, I was down on the floor in between the two machines. I didn't hurt myself but I was mortified!
