Re: P90X ???

  • No, but I want to do it so badly! I think I might order it on ebay for cheaper than on TV. GL! Let us know you how you like it!

  • DH and I have done it. They are great workouts - the host is pretty cheesy and he annoys me to no end now, but we've done it on and off for a couple years.

I'm always sore the next day though! You should definitely try it!

  • I have done it and LOVED it.  I got through Phase 1 and 2 and lost 30 pounds and 2 pant sizes.  I ended up stopping and haven't gotten back into it yet.  DH just started over a week ago and loves it as well.  It is a great program and I intend on doing a hybrid of Cto5K and the P90X resistance/strength training workouts for the summer time.  I like to get outside when it's nice!  I highly recommend it but it is INTENSE!

DH and I use the ab ripper session of P90X on its own sometimes.  We just started the Insanity program...all of the exercises are using your own body weight, no bands or hand weights required, which I like.  It is some crazy interval training though!  Very intense and I am exhausted haha.  So if you aren't into all the weight/resistance stuff, maybe try that instead.

Good luck gettting started! You can do it!

  • It's a great program. I did it last fall and got quick results. Unfortunatly I got out of my workout routine with the holidays and never started again :( Since we are TTC now, I'm not going to do it because I think it may be too much. I did start day 1 of Couch to 5K so we'll see how that goes! GL!

  • P90X is awesome! It is very effective but I have a hard time committing that much time each day! I am hoping to be better about doing the whole program again this summer! Good luck...it sounds like this is the perfect time for you to get started on it!
