Help! I need gift ideas.

We're going to a bday party for K today (I posted about her yesterday).  She's turning 4 on Monday.  I told DH to get her a jump rope but I'm pretty sure he thought I was joking.

It's hot here already so I was thinking of maybe pool toys (MIL has a pool that she can go to) or a sprinkler type thing to hook up to a hose?  We don't want to spend a lot but I want to get her something that'll get her being active but is still fun.

Suggestions please.

    Pool toys and sprinkler toys are both excellent ideas. Also sidewalk chalk. It's inexpensive, you can get a HUGE box with all the good colors for a song, and it'll get her outside and being creative.

    What about a slip and slide? That would require some activity and I loved them when I was little.

    Slip'n'slide would be a good idea too!

    I thought of sidewalk chalk but realized they don't have sidewalks in the country and DH's gma's driveway (where she's living 95% of the time) is crap and not chalk art worthy :(
