I had my baby yesterday! Lily was born at 8:34am. We are having trouble with latching, but we are working on it She is beautiful, I'm so in love. I went into labor while waiting for a room to open up for my planned induction. My OB decided to augment the labor with pit. and it worked out perfectly.
I actually got a little sleep last night night because I sent her to the nursery. I am hoping to get the heck out of here today. They recommend tomorrow, but I'm anxious to get home..its boring here. And I have 2 other little girls that want me home!

I just rolled out of bed....baby was having some INSANE late night dance parties in my belly last night. Either that, or she was desperately trying to make a great escape by bursting through the side of my belly.
Ah....I am going to miss her in there, but can't wait to see her in less than a week!
So, DH was on duty last night and DD got up only once! How is that fair!?! Oh, well, she usually only gets up twice for me, so I can't complain!
I am so excited it's Memorial Day weekend! The unofficial start of summer! Plus I can start driving again next week so I am no longer stuck at home! WOO HOO!
Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Good morning ladies. I am finding it really hard to have time to do anything other than nurse D. It's crazy. He eats like a crazy man. I feel bad because I know the board has died down a lot and I want to be here still to talk to everyone but I am really having a hard time doing anything other than taking care of him.
Everything is going well though. I can't believe it's already been a week. Yesterday we walked around town a little and I learned the hard way that my tear is not ready for that. Oh well. I guess sitting around the house it is.
I'm patiently waiting on a few babies around here. I know you ladies are ready. I can't wait to see them.
pooping! me and Beau..... DH compares LO's poops to sling-shotting yogurt across the room. Even the sound of it is picked up on the monitor!!!!
Ray has decided that being burped means instead he's supposed to poop. You're not kidding about how loud it can be.
Enjoying a final few peaceful moments. MIL is on a plane as I type. Will be here 8 days. Should be an experience. The initial "he's born!" phone call (and this was someone dying of excitement all 9 months) turned into a rant about my having an epidural. A mercifully brief one, because DH cut her off, but really what does that accomplish after the fact? Expect the breastfeeding difficulties to also be translated into a character flaw. This is also someone who doesn't cook or clean. At least she's staying in a hotel.

9am and I'm just getting out of bed. Lazy, lazy.
Oh and I'm starving already and I think the only thing left to eat in the house is frozen salmon and some peanuts. I really hate food shopping.

not acceptable food choices, go out to eat ASAP!
That requires getting dressed and I'm not ready to part with my moo-moo just yet this morning. Why does no one deliver breakfast food?
