Baby Ben is here!

Last friday I posted "I think I'm in labor" oh was I! I had my 39 wk OB appt at noon, I was 1cm and not effaced at all, by 3 pm I started really contracting, I mean an 8-9 in the pain scale, I had DH come home to take me to hospital, by 5pm when I was checked I was 5cm! by 7pm when I was moved from triage to my birthing room I was 8cm!!! I had my epi at 7:30 (my admiration for women that go natural, not me baby, that was waaaay too much to handle!) and Ben was born on May 20th at 9:09 pm. He was 6 lbs 2 oz and 19 inches long. My friend a midwife deliver him!

ps. no one told how tough this, no sleeping feeding him every hour business, really was! Tongue Tied
