Stillbirth to be portrayed on tv, season finale....

I know I'm probably the only one who watches Secret Life of the American Teenager but I was reading on the entertainment board about how they plan to end the season finale on June 6.

I see a lot of early m/c plots on fictional tv, but not many about late losses.

    I've watched it since season 1! That is so odd that you posted this, because everyone keeps making a big deal out of Ben and Adrian marrying as a result of her pregnancy and I even thought to myself- what if something happens? This had been in my head because Ben's dad wants them to wait until after he baby which I wondered if his big deal was some type of foreshadowing... Interesting!

    ACK!!! I didn't believe it! I will have to watch it...and bawl my eyes out. I have watched the whole show, from season 1. I found it late in season1 and had to go back and find the others. I can't help it, I am a bit of an addict when it comes to this show. I actually watched 7th Heaven (another Brenda Hampton show) and I was disappointed that it went off the air, even though it made a really long run. I enjoy her shows and can't wait to see what happens.

    I folllow certain people around tv and movies. Actresses and actors and now Brenda Hampton. lol. I know the show is meant for teenagers but I had to follow her too since she put out such an amazing show the first time I caught onto her, at least in my mind.

    I have short term memory loss. Do not take it personally if I do not remember you right away.
    No longer trying to conceive at all.

    I used to watch the show religiously, then I lost my triplets and couldn't handle it, but this show I will have to watch. To see how it's handled.

    I have mixed feelings on this one.  How much of it will be "cry now and it's all better in a week?"  I haven't seen this show, but seeing a subject like this makes me wonder how it will be handled, and I'll reserve my kudos until I know that.

    I agree with you. The show does deal with serious issues, but they often glaze over some pretty heavy stuff because the actors don't have a lot of range. From what I have seen that the actress who plays Adrian is very talented so if anyone can pull this off, she can.

    Oh wow!  I just happened to start watching this show this week on netflix, so I must be way back at the beginning.  It reminds me a lot of 7th Heaven.  Maybe I'll have to start watching the current season.
