Rec your thermometer please!

What thermometer do you like for your LO? The ear thermometers are appealing but are they a waste of money?

    Love the temporal one we got at Costco. It's the same one they sell at BRU but it's around $20 cheaper at Costco. Works fast and is very accurate. The ear ones never worked for us.

     

    This is what we have too.  For newborn stage I used a digital one to take the anal temperature.

    We have the same temporal one that pp's mentioned, I do not like it. We have a rectal digi from Target, takes the temp in 6 seconds (it was in the $10 range). I have used both at the same time, and there is always a few degree difference. I think rectal is more accurate.

    we have both the temporal and a body one (you can click to change from  oral, under arm and rectal) and much prefer the body one.

    the temporal one is always a good 3 degrees off. it's ok if it's just around 100-101, but if it's over 101, I always take a rectal temp.
