I've heard great things about PF - just wanted to throw out there that special addition also does fittings. I don't have experience with either but again, just wanted to throw it out there.

Special Addition is good too. It's on 38th and Lamar. They specialize in all things breast-feeding, and they have lactation consultants, pumps, etc. etc. Though they'll likely recommend that you come get fitted after your milk comes in. That's what they told me last time.
p.s. After you get fitted, I just got a couple of gorgeous bras from this company in New Zealand at really good prices. Check occasionally for sales. I got two bras and a pair of "french knickers" for $80, which included shipping, handling, taxes, etc.
More on Special Addition vs. Petticoat Fair - Petticoat Fair was a great experience for getting fitted - I would definitely initially go there. However, I needed a pretty large cup size, and they only had 3-4 bras in my size to try on. I did pick one style to take home, but recently went to Special Addition to check out what they had. They had a much better selection in my gigantic size, although I didn't get the same reassuring fitting experience. So in the end, for the fitting experience and having confidence you're buying the right size, Petticoat Fair. And if you need a bizarre size (like me) definitely give Special Addition a try - they definitely have different stock.
I do NOT recommend Special Addition for a fitting. When I went in after DD was born they didn't offer any assistance or guidance whatsoever. They asked what my most recent size was and based it on that, which was so far off base it was ridiculous. Also, I have a very small ribcage but a, ahem, "respectable" cup size. Very few nursing bras even come in my size, and they had none but said if I found a good fit in the cups they would take in the bands. I ran out of time because DD (a week old) was getting fussy so they said I could come back to get measured for alterations. When I returned a week later, they said one of the bras was a style they NEVER altered, and the other they said they couldn't do because it had been worn. I was pretty pissed, because we're not talking a difference between a 32 and a 34, it was a difference between a 30 and a 38. I have no problem paying shittons of money for a great bra, but I spent almost $200 and out of 3 bras the only useable one was a sleep bra.
(Much time later I was able to find someone to take in every bra I purchased at SA)
I would definitely recommend Petticoat Fair over SA. Again, none of their nursing bras worked for me (there are probably different options now), but they were able to fit me into regular bras then convert them to drop cups. I purchased a tankini when DD was about 5mos and they converted that into a drop cup style, then 2mos later they converted it into a bikini. Now THAT'S service!
Re: Getting sized for a nursing bra
