First off thanks for all the nice comments from you all, I am sorry I haven't been able to offer support the past few days and it will prob be a few more before I do....
I had a stent placed in my kidney yesterday to drain it and holy cow was it painful! They did put me out but when I woke up the pain was terrible! I was in the worst pain ever because my kidney and bladder were swollen now. I have been on heavy morphine since yesterday. When my pain is under control they will let me go. Kennedy is doing just fine, been strong and hanging out during this whole crappy thing. I am so uncomfortable I can't even describe it.... The only funny thing that has happened since I have been in the hospital was my belly looks rather bellyish now. Very round and hard.

I'm sorry about all of the pain.
Hopefully they'll be able to get it under control soon! But such great news that your little girl is doing well!
Best wishes for a super speedy recovery!!!
Kidney stents are the worst! I had another kidney stone last fall and they put one in after blasting my stone. The stent itself was almost as painful as the stone. :-( Not to scare you, but getting it taken out kinda hurts too. Everyone says it just feels like a long tampon being removed, which is true. But afterwards I was pretty painful from it. Went back to the ER and the doctor said the removal caused a spasm in my kidney. :-( Anyway, glad to hear momma and baby are doing well.
ETA: the pain after the removal didn't last long though! Hang in there!
