OB/GYN Recommendation - So. Shore

Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations for OB/Gyn practices on the So. Shore - specifically in Braintree, Weymouth, Norwell or Quincy? Looking for a good Dr., one that will listen, calls back, has a friendly office staff and has a few Dr's. in the practice that I'd see during my pregnancy incase my main Dr. is not the one to delivery my baby?

Crown Colony OBGYN is Amazing!!!! (located in Quincy)

I love this team - they have different office locations and deliver at South Shore Hospital

They have been extremely supportive and easy to deal with throughout my entire pregnancy... they have a 24 hour nurse on calls for any time you may call in with questions and drs. support

I go to Atlantic Womens Health on Wood Rd in Braintree. Its 4 women and they are great. affiliated with South SHore Hospital.

I go to South Shore OB GYN in Quincy on School Street and they have been great, both regular GYN appts and throughout my pregnancies...

I go to Harvard Vanguard in Quincy. They have dr. and midwives. Loved, loved, loved my midwife. They offer classes - I took prenatal yoga there. Also, if you need test (which I unfortuantely needed a ton of!) everything is one building. You only go across from Brigham and Womens for your 18 week ultrasound. They are affiliated with B&W. Good luck

I think that depends on where you want to deliver....

We used Harvard Vanguard in Quincy for DS 4 yrs ago and had a great experience but had a horrible experience delivering at B&W. This time we're using Atrius Womens Health Care Center in Weymouth and they've been even better than Harvard Vanguard and we're really looking forward to delivering at SS Hospital. Harvard Vanguard in Quincy only delivers in Boston - and Atrius only delivers at SS Hospital. HTH and GL!!

I second Atrius.

I have literally seen every Dr. there, and I liked them all. at some point someone told us we should try to meet with a few of the Drs and we went overboard, cause I am 31 and just finished making rounds ;p

I have called a few times and recieved call back immediately with support and care. Was never made to feel silly

This! I love them! I have been with Dr. Gioni for about 2 years and I was so happy when I toured all the hospitals and realized I liked South Shore by far!! So I was able to stick with my doctor and deliver at my favorite hospital.

I went to South Shore Womens Health in Weymouth, and I love them. They have both OBs and Midwives, and you get the chance to meet everyone prior to delivery. I never had a problem scheduling last-minute appointments, and my calls were always answered promptly and kindly.
