Intro and a newbie question

Howdy ladies! I am expecting my first child in October, we are having a boy! MH and I are so excited. We had decided before we were married that I was going to be a stay at home when the time came, well I worked my last day today! It was better timing for my job to quit now instead of waiting until October. Anyways...

Now that I will be home all day I need to start a routine on cleaning and getting things done. I am not much of a self motivator when it comes to cleaning and laundry. Is there a website that helps you create a calendar or schedule of some sort? I am thinking I need to work on certain rooms on certain days of the week...? Any advice would be great!

    Congratulations on your baby and being a sahm!!!  My second baby is due on October 11th.  

    My advice is that when your baby gets here enjoy having him home.  The house isn't going anywhere just sit back and play/hold the baby.

    As far as a cleaning system/schedule.  I do a Monday-Friday schedule where I clean a couple rooms a day (or 1 large room).  That way I don't have to do anything on my weekends.  Good luck!

    Hi and welcome!

    I don't really have a cleaning schedule. I mostly just work my way through the house cleaning as I go. I do things like laundry, loading/unloading the dishwaher, wiping down counters/sinks, vacuuming, etc. on a daily basis though.

    Some girls here prefer to use the Flylady system (www.flylady.net) or Motivated Moms (I don't know the web address).
