Newbie Intro - BFP After Loss

Hi all, I'm somewhat new to the forum. Early last month (April 2011) I found out I had an ectopic pregnancy and was rushed into surgery. I lost a fallopian tube and was devastated. Husband and I have been trying for about a year.

We had a vacation scheduled for early May and decided to just go ahead and go. On May 19th my period still had not arrived. I took a home pregnancy test and got a BFP! So far I've had 2 quantitative HCG tests both showing an increase!!

Next week I go in for an early ultrasound. I'm so excited and scared. Just wanted to share.

These forums were an great source of comfort as I dealt with my loss last month.

    Quick Update - Had our first u/s yesterday and the pregnancy was dated as 4 weeks & 4 days (not 6 weeks like I thought). The u/s tech showed us the gestational sac and yolk sac in the uterus!!! I'm so excited. Now we wait for the next u/s which is on June 10th. I'm trying not to get too excited but I just can't help it!
