Addison Belle arrived Tuesday at 9:43pm, a little more than 12hrs before her induction time was scheduled. She's a healthy little girl at 19in and 6lb12oz, we just got home yesterday afternoon. L&D went fairly smoothly with a few complications that turned out to be blessings. She arrived with her cord wrapped around her neck and arm- had a good heartbeat, but wasn't breathing. Fortunately we had a NICU team in the room waiting for her because of meconium and they got her cleaned and breathing in seconds. I also ended up being on a magnesium drip for about 4hrs before she was born because they were concerned about pre-e. That stuff is no fun. Not as bad as I thought, but still hated feeling kind of out of it. We're still getting used to bfing, she eats like a champ, but I still feel like its uncomfortable. She's also the gassiest baby I've ever been around, like stinky grown up farts all day. I'm SO glad to be out of the hospital and not being interrupted by people every 30min. Our furbabies are a little anxious, they did awesome with meeting her, but they freak out a little when she cries.
