Give it a few days. I would never answer an email like that on a gut reaction. I always let it sit for a day or two and then answer.

Good point. It did take me over a year to send it, I should give her some time to think about it.

I didn't get to reply to the OP yesterday, but I think you did the right thing by emailing. Now the ball is in her court, you've done all you could do, and it's up to her if she wants to accept it and you back in her life. I totally get where you were coming from, BTW. Although we haven't had trouble TTC yet, we haven't started TTC yet. And it was really hard to watch friends get married and have babies, when we aren't in a financial position to do so. Also, the FB announcement would definitely have pissed me off. We have friends who have had trouble TTC and when other friends in the group got pregnant, they went to them personally and told them privately and acknowledged that it might be hard and they can take their time celebrating with them.

Long story short, props to you.

This. I'm sure she doesn't know what to say it. She might still be in shock to hear from you. Annnnd... she is probably asking her friends now what to reply and say.
