1st U/S update!

So after a long night of crazy dreams and almost no sleep we got to the u/s early. I was so very nervous... she opted to do a t/v only b/c I am so early. Her first words were "There is the sac, its in the uterus" - I sobbed like a baby. It was like a thousand pounds were lifted off me, I was so worried with the spotting that it was going to be another ectopic. Then she zoomed in and we got to see the tiny flicker of heartbeat. I am so absolutely in love with my flickering blob! She said I'm right on track at 6 weeks, and while she couldn't get a good read on the hr, it was showing about 99, she said not to worry its so early. I have another u/s scheduled next week while Dh and I are on vacation, but I am just over the moon and so relieved. We have never made it this far.... so though I know I'm not "out of the woods" - I'm feeling much better. Third time is the charm, right!?! She said our EDD is 1/16/12!
