Baby Shower

I have an aunt coming down from Oklahoma City in August to throw me a baby shower. We don't want to do it at my house because she doesn't want me to have to get the house ready for a big group and then clean up afterwards. It will be a co-ed shower with probably around 40 people. Any suggestions on places where we could have it?

    We co-hosted a co-ed shower at Serrano's at the Arboretum and it was great.  They have a semi-private area at the back that we used...the guys spent most of the time at the bar and the ladies baby shower-ed.  And the food was excellent.

    I don't know where you live but I just had lunch at Laurie's in Georgetown.  It's a little cafe/ tearoom type place that would be cute for a shower.  The people were super nice so if you're north you might check it out.;

    Chez Zee and NXNW have private rooms, too.  NXNW would be a good place for the menfolk.

    I think the Serrano's in the Arboretum closed down.
