I posted earlier this month about my friend who had twins 7 weeks early. I didn't know she was pg until she was like 19 weeks when she posted on FB. I sooo wanted to know if she had treatment since that is where my mind goes when I hear multiples. I knew it was rude to come out and ask so instead, I emailed her that I was going to do IVF (thinking she'd tell me if she did as well). She responded that she did IUI! I knew it! Anyway, I am going to meet up with her tomorrow afternoon for coffee to talk about all of it. I'm so curious to hear about her journey.
TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
DE IVF #3 1/14 ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d
DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

DH said I HAD to bring a gift when I see her. I'm kind of over gifts for 2nd babies but I succumbed to peer pressure. There was NO WAY I was going to buy baby clothes in my crazy state of mind. I opted for the gift card I found at CVS for Gymboree. The cashier probably thought I was nuts: my order was baby card, gift card to baby store, pantyliners and 2 bottles of pre natal vitamins!
BTW: CVS has buy 1 get 1 free of the store brand prenatals.. Good deal!

HA! The cashier either thinks you're nuts or very confused about the way things work.
I need to get a gift for my neighbors twin girls, but I can't make myself go shopping for baby clothes, either. A gift card is a great idea.
