Tomorrow is our last day of school!!! My kids leave at 9am after our open house, and then we have a staff luncheon and check out...and then I am FREE!!!!!!!!!!! You have no idea how relieved I am. I am starting to get really uncomfortable, and being on my feet all day is a lot harder than I thought it would be. Yesterday we had a field/water day with the kinders, and I was outside all afternoon in the heat and on my feet. I had a dr. apt after school, and then had to go run some errands with DH. When we got home I was so exhausted and in so much pain I literally cried. I went to bed when it was still light out. I am so ready to relax and focus on getting this LO here safely.

And so.freaking.jealous. My kids are in school until June 9, and if I'm not in labor, I'm still teaching. My feet/ankles/legs/hips/back are so not okay with the whole standing up and teaching all day.

I honestly don't know how you are doing it. I have been teaching sitting down the last few weeks already and I am only about 34 weeks. The other day I was just saying how lucky I am that I don't have to teach until I go into labor. I never imagined how painful my hips/legs/back/feet could get!!! You poor thing!

Yeah...my coworkers seem to think that I'm a big baby if they ever ask how I'm doing and I don't respond with a smile and a "GREAT!" ...it's a little annoying. I wish they would stop asking.
I've been sitting down a little each day, but when I do, students automatically assume I'm done with the lesson and it's time to just chat/tune out.
Yay! You finally made it! Let the vacation begin :-)
