Georgia Babies

Story time at Barnes and Noble

Has anyone been before?  I'm wondering if Adam is too young (he's 22 months) to enjoy it or if it would be fun.  I just don't want to be the only person there with a crazy toddler.  I have a baby sitter in the mornings and was looking for some fun stuff to do with just me and Adam while she keeps his new baby sister.  So far I'm thinking of doing gymboree, but thought story time would be fun too.  Thanks!

I haven't tried it yet. I'm to chicken to take Bailey.

What about taking him to the park to go to the playground? Bailey loves memorial park over off Northside Dr. and there is one off Collier we go too as well.

The zoo is another idea. It's way easier to only take the walking child to the zoo. And they have a great playground as well.

  • We live next to Piedmont Park so we go everyday, but a different park might be fun.  We also do the zoo pretty often.  I was hoping for something with some other kids to be around, but I agree I'm afraid we are still too young.

  • I've been taking my daugher to story time at the Buckhead Barnes & Noble since she was three months old or so. She enjoys it and it gets us out. We have also been doing Play 2 Grow class since she was 2 1/2 months and a music class for the last four months or so. I like having things to do that get us both out and socializing, not to mention she definitely enjoys these activities which makes it that much more fun.

We've done this also way before ds was 2, he won't be the only toddler there at all.
