If you had an unsuccessful vbac

Tell me about the method of anesthesia that was used.

More specifically, if you were med free, what did they do?

I've been very confident about my vbac attempt in less than two months, but have been having thoughts of being put to sleep if I need to have RCS.  I'm hoping to go med free.

    Not an unsuccessful vbac, so I don't know if this answers your question. But when I had my daughter, I had a med-free labor. When they decided to section me, they just gave me an epidural right before I went in. Hope that helps!

    i received a spinal. as long as its not an emergency you will be awake. but if it is and you dont have a epidural i was told by my midwife thats when they put you to sleep.gl

    My VBAC was successful, but my first labor was med-free and they gave me a spinal after I got in the OR. Same as pp- if it is an emergency, they will likely put you to sleep otherwise, they will give you the spinal or epidural.
