I deserve X because....
Anyone else struggling with the I deserve X because I can't have a baby attitude? I know it's not really a healthy thought process, but at the same time I feel like I can justify almost any purchase because I can't have a baby, don't have to buy diapers, pay for daycare, etc. My bank account isn't loving me at the moment.

This is what I like to call "retail therapy". I do this all the time.
For some unknown reason it makes me feel better buying stuff. It's probably a sense of control. I can not control having a baby HOWEVER, I can control what all comes home with me from Target, Express, Ikea, ect...

Yup. big time. Although thanks to multiple pg losses and IVF weight gain I'm not exactly anxious to go out and buy a new wardrobe... so lots and lots of shoes for now.
And poor DH, he'd agree to buy me just about anything to 'fix' me right now and make me happy so I'm really having to show restraint and not spend more money than we have to blow right now.
