UPDATE: I am officially off birth control and we are ready to start trying. If I could be moved to that list that would be great.
QOTW: I like the idea of them, and I might have a family member take some pictures. But professional pictures are usually out of my budget, we didn't even hire a professional for our wedding, my uncle took pictures for us.
No update. I did purchase an OPK last grocery trip. So, I will be trying that soon to make sure I am actually O-ing. Even though my doc told me that I should ovulate every month even though I only have 1 ovary, I still just don't believe her. So, I thought I would try the opk.
QOTW: I like other people's photos. But, like a pp said, I also can't really afford them, so I won't be getting them this time either. I do have some from last time as our photojournalism teacher took some. I wish I had looked more presentable, but it was the end of the day...blah, blah, blah.
Update: No real update. Just waiting for my first AF after going off of birth control 3 weeks ago.
QOTW: I like to see other people's maternity photos and when the time comes would at least like to have some taken. They don't have to be real professional, but I would like a few photos done if I have the confidence!

QOTW: I like maternity photos (at least, the ones I have seen from others) and would do them if they are in the budget and I don't feel like a whale. That said, I would probably be fully clothed. I am not much of a bare belly kind of gal.
QOTW: I don't think it's for me. I never felt that cute pregnant. haha.
Updates: 3DPO, yay! I am so happy to be in the 2WW, I hate waiting to O. We had really good timing so I'm feeling more optimistic this month than the previous cycles. We'll see though.

I got my IUD taken out last month and am now officially trying. I don't have much time to post on these boards, but with summer(and more free time) very quickly approaching I am hoping to be able to check in more often so please add me to the list.
I too love other peoples maternity photos, but don't think it is for me. I may change my mind later because I do love the pictures of the siblings touching the momma's belly so we may think about doing that with DD.
I'm in the middle of the 2ww and it's really hard! I tested way too early (which I knew was dumb!) so now I'm not going to test again until AF is due (okay, honestly I'll prob test before then. Ugh...it's hard to wait!
QOTW: I like maternity pics as long as they are classy. If I have the money I'd like to get them done (honestly, I'm kind of a ham and I like to have pics taken although I rarely do.)
BTW: hsartteach - I want to see the pics!
I am 8dpo in my second TTA cycle. I had BW done on Monday to see if the dr should put me on Clomid or Prometrium. Hopefully that comes back before AF! Of course, AF is supposed to start Saturday or Sunday. But next cycle it is GAME ON. We are going to try pre-seed as well as a lot of BD
Plus I am going to continue to take B6, and I will add green tea.
QOTW: My best friend is a photographer so it will be likely I will have some photos done. I love other people's PG pics, so hopefully I will love my own as well!

Please add me to the "trying" list! Eek! Monday would be the day to start a new pack of BC and that ain't gonna happen! We'll see how it goes! I'm not expecting issues but I am in the "advanced maternal age" category. Blah.
QOTW: Yes, I would have them done. With DS we had a photog-as-a-hobby friend take a few and I really cherish them. Even though I won't hang them up or anything, I like that I have them. I have body-image issues, but while prego I guess I gave myself a break and chalked any unsightliness up to being pregnant. With DD, my youngest sister got married 3 weeks before my due date, so we have a few of me dressed in my prego bridesmaid dress, DH in a tux and DS in a fancy little romper. I love them. It was still just a friend with a photog hobby, so not really professional, but again, I'm so glad I have them. DD loves to point at the pictures in her book and say, "I was in mama's tummy and I was trying to get out!"
So, you won't see them displayed on my walls, but I think they are a good thing to have.
Update: started AF on Monday, so looks like I'm back to a 30 day cycle like I was before bcp. I'm good with that. I should be ovulating over our Bahama trip at the beginning of July
DH won't be home hardly at all this month, so no way I'm getting pg during June.
QOTW: I want maternity photos, but I'm a photo whore. I like them, and I think they look great.
Update: My period finally stopped so that's exciting! We're not doing any treatments right now so I have very little hope of getting pg, but we're trying.
I guess in a couple of weeks I'll pop over to the dollar store and begin my weekly Friday tests.

Can I join? I lurk more than I post on this board, but now that we are back in to "official" trying mode I am super excited and find myself here more often.
This will be our first cycle trying after an ectopic pregnancy. I am very hopeful and feel that we are at a better place than we have been in our 10 months of TTC.
QOTW: I will probably have a family member or friend take some, but not get them professionally done. I would rather save that money for newborn photos. I don't see myself getting a ton of prints of myself at my heaviest weight and plastering them all over my home. I do on the other hand see myself wallpapering my home in pictures of my child, so pro pics for that would be money well spent!

QOTW: I'm very picky about photos of myself but I love taking pictures so I will probably have them done. I always enjoy looking at everyone else's. I won't be going bare belly though, just fully clothed.

We had family photos done and thought she needed something "extra". We're a tad bit obsessed with her.
There is a lady on eBay that makes them in any two colors you choose for like $6. Although, after I got it in the mail I realized that all you really need is a ring of elastic and some colored tulle and it's super easy to make one yourself.
