Popping in to say hi. (and some news, too)

I hope everyone is doing well!  Bacon and cupcakes and margaritas, it's almost a long weekend (for the Americans, anyway)!

I kind of have some good news.  I went for a repeat HSG yesterday (tube was a little blocked, but we got it all squared away (again) and doc says everything is good to go) and while I was there, my doctor asked if he could do an ultrasound to see if I am actually ovulating or if the past two 31 and 37 day cycles respectively have been a fluke.

I had an 8mm follicle yesterday morning.

You guys.  My body is doing what it's supposed to do.

We're still going to do another treatment cycle next time around, because today is day 15 so I'm looking at a day 24ish ovulation and the RE says that's too late for a good, strong, comfortable ovulation.  I trust his judgement so we'll go ahead and do what we need to do next cycle.

But, ya'll, my body works.  For the first time in God only knows how long, my body is doing what it should have been doing all along.  !!!!!!!!!

(I can probably attribute most of it to diet, exercise and metformin but I'm still astounded.)
